Not too long ago, we detailed news of the 2023 EV Jeep near EL Paso, TX, the brand’s first-ever all-electric vehicle. The Jeep Avenger is spacious and practical, with a trendy and energetic interior. Jeep’s Electric Specs

Of course, many of us are disappointed that the Avenger won’t be appearing in the United States. Still, the company is positioned to launch the Jeep Recon and Wagoneer S as the first all-electric vehicles for the States in 2024. A major breakthrough, the 2023 EV Jeep near El Paso, TX places the Jeep EV design on full display. Just a bit smaller than a Jeep Renegade, the Jeep Avenger is 161 inches long and showcases a 400-volt electric powertrain that gets its go from one electric motor. Mated with a 54-kWh battery pack, the motor puts out 156 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Using a DC fast charger, the EV can go from a 20% to an 80% charge in about 24 minutes. The battery can be fully recharged in about 5.5 hours when using a regular charger.

In addition to the basics, the Jeep Avenger features an assortment of off-road treats. Drivers will get Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system as standard equipment, which will allow the vehicle to be driven through a variety of terrain, including sand, snow, and mud. Jeep’s excellent Hill-Descent Control also comes standard. An ample 7.9 inches of ground clearance ensures easier off-road maneuvers and skid plates are there to protect the underbody when needed.

Inside, the cabin is reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler, with simple lines and practical design. Running the length of the dash is a body-colored beam which helps to streamline the sleek look. Electronically-adjustable leather seating with a massage function will surely wow passengers and drivers alike.

Future EV Plans

We think the future EV Jeeps for the US will likely borrow at least a few design features from the Avenger. And although there aren’t many details about the future Recon and Wagoneer S, Jeep fans can be sure that the company’s off-roading capabilities won’t be traded for electrification. The Jeep Recon will allegedly have impressive approach and departure angles, and will come with a removable windshield and doors, just like the Wrangler.

The Wagoneer S is aimed at becoming the EV successor to the Grand Cherokee, since it will have a two-row configuration (unlike the existing (three-row) Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer). So far, the most we know about the Wagoneer S is that it will feature an impressive 600-hp powertrain that allows for an inspiring 400-mile driving range.
